I am Arnaud, a Belgian developer with a passion for WordPress.
Right now I am working as a Development Team Lead at Awesome Motive for AIOSEO. I also do freelance gigs on the side.
I started working with WordPress in 2016 when I met Michael, the original owner of All in One SEO. He introduced me to the magical world of WordPress plugin development and SEO.
Back then I was involved in all areas of the product, including development, but also localization, marketing and third tier support.
When Awesome Motive acquired the product in 2020, I was brought onboard as a full-time developer to help Benjamin Rojas, our current president, to rewrite the plugin from scratch. The old codebase did not age well and was not built for the future that Awesome Motive had in mind.
Ever since then we have been hard at work to make All in One SEO the best SEO plugin on the market. Our goal at Awesome Motive is to help small businesses grow, and SEO is critical in that regard.
Apart from development, I like to travel abroad, discover new foods, watch the latest movies & series and go out for a drink with friends. I am also a techie and like to read up on and experiment with the latest developments.
I live in Belgium and I am often found around Bruges, the town where I live. Bruges is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places in the world, so I feel blessed to be living here.
